The Treasury pilots New Ways to Work

In November 2013, the then Minister for Finance and Services, Andrew Constance, announced the relocation of ministerial offices from Governor Macquarie Tower (GMT) to 52 Martin Place. ServiceFirst is pleased to be assisting with the move, which is now well underway with staff from the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) and The Treasury expected to relocate later in 2014.

eWorkplace: Prepare to Transition to MS Outlook

This month, all of our customers should be preparing for the transition to MS Outlook over the next few months by cleaning up out-dated and non-essential GroupWise emails, meeting room bookings, address books and shared mailboxes. A statement of work with Microsoft has also been approved for the deployment of MS Lync to replace GroupWise Messenger. Read more.

ServiceFirst and NSW Government Data Centre

On Friday, 9 August 2013, ServiceFirst representatives attended the opening of the Silverwater Data Centre, the first of two new Government data centres. The Honourable Andrew Constance MP, Minister for Finance and Services, officially opened the Silverwater facility and presented plaques to the 'anchor tenants' in recognition of their support of the project.
